Dragon Chai - crushed spice is blended using black tea, cinnamon quills, cinnamon bark, star anise, cardamom, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, bay leaves and chilli flakes.
How to use: (recipe for 2 mugs of chai)
- Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Stir in 1 heaped tablespoon of chai mix.
- Add grated or thinly sliced ginger for a warming kick.
- Simmer until the liquid reduces by nearly half.
- If using tea, add it now and steep for 1-2 minutes before adding milk.
- Pour in about 1 cup of milk.
- Warm gently without letting it boil.
- Sweeten to taste and serve.
